Default How to map DLT Tape drive as drive letter (Tapedisk, DATMAN, DTA)?

Hi there,

is there a possibility to map a DLT drive as a drive letter. Something
like Arcada Tapedisk, DATMAN or Veritas Direct Tape Access. These
products seem outdated and not available anymore.
Is there any recent Software available?

Thanks.

Software companes have gone away from emulating disk drives with tapes.
The performance is horrible, and you can't emulate a real disk, just
something that resembles a WORM drive. Users tend to forget the
limitations and support becomes a nightmare. To do it properly, you
have to combine disk and tape and create a HSM, which is a different
class of product.
