Slow Performance Quadro Fx 1000 Dual Monitor
I hope I'm in the right group. I didn't see many quadro card posts. I
have installed a Quadro FX 1000. I have it set up for dual monitors. One is DVI the other is VGA. Latest Drivers are installed. When I try to play any type of video file format the playback is choppy. DVD movies choppy also. I think I have teweaked as many settings as I can for performance but I don't see much improvement. All my videos used to play just fine with my ATI 9700 card. Is it really that much of a performance hit to run a dual monitor setup? Can anyone shed some light if this is normal with dual monitor setup or am I missing something in the settings dialog? Setup Athlon XP 2400 512MB Dell 19" 1905F DVI Samsung 17" VGA Thanks Sub |

(check Your BIOS) - Windows hardware acceleration enabled? - ATA DMA modes for HD/DVD drive enabled? - Did You remove the previous drivers _completely_? I know from this effect often coming from remaining pieces of the previous drivers. Benjamin |
