Default Mobile Pentium 4 oder Desktop P4 ?

Hello,

I have recentliy bought a notebook advertised for stating it includes
a mobile Pentium 4 Processor with SpeedStep technology.

How can I tell if it really is one. I have doubts that this is only a
desktop P4 as it comes with an 845 chipset.

Any ideas ?

Thanks,

Frank

Download the Intel Processor Frequency ID utility:

http://www.intel.com/support/process...yid/freqid.htm

This should tell you the CPU frequency and also give you the CPU ID data.
