Default The 4 pin PSU connector


What happen if only 20 pin ATX PSU connector is plug to the
motherboard but leaving 4 pin connector unplug in a Pentium 4 3.0ghz
system?

It won't run, there will be no power for the CPU.

Either it won't run or it'll be subject to instability and
overheating of the single 12V cable on the ATX or burning up
the pin-connector... don't do it.

If you don't plug in the 4 pin connector all the magic smoke will leak out!!

Very true. I had an Asrock mobo that did not have the socket and I had
a Cel 2G on it !
