CPU warranty of 90 days...typical?
My first Intel Pentium 4 CPU failed after
about 10 months. I ordered another one from a different vendor and this time couldn't help but notice the notation "Warranty 90 days" on the sales order confirmation. Have I been on another planet since warranties became so short? Anyway, damned if the this one hasn't failed after about 11 weeks. The vendor charged $48 for the CPU. If you want a longer warranty then quit getting oem cpu's.
