Wow, now I can sleep better.
WTF do you two waste bandwidth using a sig anyways?
As if anyone besides yourselves really cares.

Can't speak for Ed, but I use mine so I can just point people to it when
they need info. The people that need the info will understand.

No sig, eh. If everyone did that all the power stations could cut back, I
guess. Plus less wear and tear on wires and fiber optics.

That doesn't mean that whole Sempron series is not worth its price.
Sempron 2300+ with its price lower than XP 2000+ is pretty cheap
processor.

The cheapest Sempron I could find was a 2400+ for $60. That's the same as
a 2000+ XP, which sells for $48. But it's your money.:-)

I just picked up from Fry's in Dallas a Sempron 2200+ and a ECS K7VTA3
motherboard combo for $49. That was $25 for the Sempron 2200+ and $24
for the motherboard. This combo is the cheapest I have seen in a long
time. My mom will be more than happy as this system will replace her
aging K6-400 system.

Yeah, I saw that sale. And not too many weeks ago they had the same
board with an XP 2200+ for the same $49. Which would you prefer to have, a
Sempron 2200+ that performs the same as an XP1800+, or an XP2200+ that
performs the same as, yep, an XP 2200+.:-)

And i won't even get into the other limitations of the Sempron.
