Default External Memory?

I'm wondering - could I somehow configure my cheap USB memory key sticks to
be extra external RAM? Not sure if this is feasible in terms of speed - any
comments?!

For some uses- yes
For main memory uses- no, except maybe with Windows Vista

no it is not feasible for speed, it is slower than main
memory and usually slower than a hard drive's virtual memory
too.
