Default On making coasters...

I've been using ECDC 3.2c and HotBurn2 for 4 years now with only one problem:
occasionally when I am selecting folders for System Backup I'll leave (say)
100 MB for CD index. Sometimes even that overruns the Cluster requirement if
I have too many small files. AND that creates a coaster.

I know CD burning isn't as simple as writing a floppy, and you can't find
how much room you need with a DOS/Windows command. But to me that's just
plain stupid!

I just asked Iomega about their new HotBurn product in that regard and all
I got back was a bunch of off-topic sales talk about how great it is. Do
other CD burners have the same problem? I don't want to buy a half-dozen
burner programs to find out which one won't give me that problem.

Thanks,
Don

Since I went over to Nero from EZCD I've never had another coaster.
Recommendation.
