Default Password on Folder under XP Pro

I recently converted from Fat 32 to NTFS under XP Pro.
I would like to password protect certain folder but the check box is
"greyed out"...
Is there a way to password protect folders?
Thanks,
Glenn

You can control access with permissions, but to access them on XP Pro
standalone (i.e., without a domain), you need to boot into safe mode and
logon as administrator to do that job.
