... How can I replace the small fan from the graphics card? It's usually held down by 3 small screws inside the heat sink cavity. How can I remove the fan, and where can I obtain such fan, I only see some expensive replacement fan's Correct, replacement fans of that size are pretty hard to find and therefore expensive. Better to replace the heatsink/fan assy altogether with an aftermarket one. The MX440 runs pretty cool, so something like this tiny $8 unit will work fine: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835119080 -- "War is the continuation of politics by other means. There is still nothing like a vid card that does not need a kickstand! -- "War is the continuation of politics by other means. Also see that the connection is made through the card, but I don't see how to release him. Please can you tell me how to release the Heatsink/fan. And the other solution of is not the kind I'm looking for. Therefore I must breakdown the bottom of casing )) Frank |
