Default Help Ultra PC3500 Geil 433 MHZ DDR Won't Post on EP 8RDA+

I picked up 2 dual channel 256 MB Ultra PC3500 433 MHz RAM for my Epox 8RDA+
MoBo. The system gives me no video output when both or either DIMM is
inserted in the MoBo and beeps.

The RED leds on the DIMMs are cool, but I would rather have something that
works.

I set the CMOS to 200 MHz for the DIMM speed and for auto, but the same
symptoms.

I also tried the RAM in DIMM 1/2 and 2/3, but the same result was achieved.

Any suggestions?

TIA,

Pete

Got it to work. Had to reset the CMOS by jumper, and the memory was
recognized. I think it may have been having the previous ram set to turbo
mode, but I could have sworn that I had tried it first with the optimal
settings.

Anyway, the RAM will not run in turbo mode which is one less than the
factory memory timings.

Have not had much success at 210x11, but on my EP8RDA+, I can't increase the
Vdd, which may be limiting me at this point.
