"Removable ATA/IDE for Windows?
I'm looking for a way of using standard parallel IDE/ATA drives as fully
removable with Windows 2000/XP. Specs: 1) Windows must see the drive as removable 2) Hot-pluggable/warm swappable, that is using the "Stop Device" feature of Windows; eject/unload button would be a nice extra. 3) Certified WHQL driver for host adapter 4) Fits in standard 5.25 HH drive bay -- -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Herb Oxley |
