ATT: TerryNC Ti4200
Card is an Aopen Aeolus GF4 Ti4200S 8X DVC128(N8). It is an 8X AGP
card (or better be!). You said you had a problem with a Ti4200 also? Was it Aopen? This is the second one I got. The first one cooked almost immediatley brand new. PC didn't even finish post. Entire PC was built brand new. I am now running a XFX GFX 5600 256MB with no problems. Just another little tid-bit; I have my P4 2.4ghz running stable at 3.0ghz with only air cooling (Thermaltake Spark 7). Temp doesnt get higher than 49 deg C. MB is ASUS P4PE. My PC wasnt o/c'd when cards fried. Will over-clocking fry a AGP card? P.S. You are right about Compaq/HP, support, I got more info out of this group than vendors website!!!!! |
