Dell Precision 530 Upgrade Question.
Hello who do have Dell Precision 530 Workstation.
I am trying to buy a used Dell Precision 530 Workstation from eBay. Some sellers couldn't give me clear answers that I have in mind. --------------------------------------------------------- 1. Does all 530 Work. have SCSI controller? any IDE? If it does SCSI, what kind of controller in it? 2. does 530 Work. supports only P4 or Xeon Processor? or Both? 3. What's maximum CPU speed I can upgrade to? 4. I saw VRM that support 2.8Mhz CPU from eBay. If I buy one, should I be able to upgrade to 2.8Mhz? 5. is FSB changeable from BIOS? ---------------------------------------------------------- Thank you for you reading. Young.
