Default 99 min discs

Hi
I had some Infiniti 99 minute CD-R's which worked fine using Nero
I recently bought some Unbranded 99 min CDR's from SVP Communications

Their web site says
"These discs are capable of storing 99min of audio / 869 Mb of Data"
The discs appear to be 80min (nero info) which require over burning to
achieve 99min

I burned 831Mb of audio (wav) using nero over burn
Nero reported that the burn was successful, however the CD won't play
in a cd player that was able to play the Infiniti 99 minute CD-R's
which have as much as 898Mb audio

Can anyone suggest how to achieve the same results with the 99 min
CDR's from SVP Communications and how i should go about over burning?

Martin

You may find that audio overburn is not good on Nero.

I have successfully done many data, videos and mixed-mode CDs on
CDRwin5 with 90min. You might like to try 99min on this. I think you
may have a better chance than Nero on overburn.

PS. I have not tried pure audio so cannot assure results.

Over burning is a BAD idea for audio. It causes incompatiblity in audio
players.Also 99 min CDs don't help either.Stick to 74 min or 80 min for
better results.
