Default Uploading Flash Translation Layer(FTL) to SSD

Is there any development KIT for me to upload or improve FTL resident
in SSD ?
For example, I'd like to devise a wear-leveling algorithm and equip it
to a real SSD, not to a simulator.
Thanks in advance.
