Default Bootup disk for Travelmate 314T

I want to create a boot up disk so that my travelmate 314T can boot up from
floppy. Unfortunately, the floppy drive is add on using one of the ports at
the back of the computer.

Does anyone know if there is a special driver that I need to load in order
to boot up from the floppy?

The reason for doing this is that I am trying to partition the hardisk and
clean up the system.

Many Thanks.

Ed
