Default How much can I upgrade my laptop?

Hi!

I have a Toshiba Sattelite 2800-201, bought 2 - 3 years ago. I has a
Celeron 650Mhz and it came with 64 MB Ram, but has now 192Mb.

How do I find out what kind of motherbord it has? I want to know if I can
put in anoter, faster CPU.

Also, I wonder, can I buy motherbords and CPUs for laptops anywhere? It is
advisible to try to reassemble a laptop by myself? I have set up several
desktops from scretch before.

Do all motherboards for laptops fit into any laptop's chasie? Do I need
any special tools?

Thanks if you can help,
Catalin
