Default Audio software ASUS - Installation

After a damned reinstallation of win XP on my machine I can't set bass and
treble settings, and there is something wrong in my panel control, since
there are generic infos about the sound settings.
I have a motherboard ASUS P4T-E, and i saw the latest audio drivers on the
ASUS web pages. So I downloaded them, and in the zip file there was an .inf
file, but also:
Alcxwdm.cat
alcxwdm.sys
ALDAEMON.EXE
SOUNDMAN.EXE
So the question is very simple: how to install those files, since nothing
happens if i click on the .exe files?
Thanx in advance!!!

Double-clicking the alcxwdm.inf file might work.

Drivers are also available here.
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...&Software=True

"Realtek AC97 audio driver package a3.76
WDM_A376.exe

Description
This download contains the latest audio drivers, software and utilities
for the Realtek AC97 audio controllers:
WDM driver for Windows 98/Me/2000/XP: 5.10.0.5900
WDM driver for Windows x64: 5.10.0.5900
VXD driver for Windows 95: 4.5.0.3019
VXD Software wavetable driver: 3.1.0.0
NT4 driver for Windows NT4: 4.3.0.3040
NT4 software wavetable driver: 4.3.0.2002
RtlRack for Windows 98/Me/2000/XP: 1.10.0.0
AvRack for Windows 95/NT4: 2003.4.4.1
Realtek Soundman: 5.1.0.43
Realtek Sound Effect Manager(CPL): 2.2.0.48
Realtek Sound Effect Manager(RtlCpl): 1.0.1.50
Realtek Sound Effect Manager for NT4: 2.3.0.3
Driver/Application Setup Program: 5.16

This driver can be used for all Realtek audio controllers including
the new AC3 SPDIF and nVidia CK804 8-channel sound chips. It also
includes new customised settings, 'disable analog CD' options,
support for 64 bit Windows."

There is a WDM_A376.exe and a WDM5901_PG515_Beta.exe file. The
WDM5901_PG515_Beta.exe file was released after the other file,
so may contain a bug fix. WDM5901_PG515_Beta.exe is 17193KB.

ftp://202.65.194.18/pc/ac97/alc650/W...PG515_Beta.exe

This file has an InstallShield installer, so you won't have
a problem figuring out how to install it.
