Presario 17xl460 Laptop - Drive Replacement
Original drive has gone south. When looking for a replacement drive, I
wonder of the size limitation of the BIOS [Phoenix 4.0 rel 6 - 02/06/2001]. Would anyone have an answer, or a pointer in the right direction? Any suggestions? TIA |

Since the original drive was over 8GB, you should be Ok up to 127GB,
certainly to 40-60GB. HH "klaatu" wrote in message om... Original drive has gone south. When looking for a replacement drive, I wonder of the size limitation of the BIOS [Phoenix 4.0 rel 6 - 02/06/2001]. Would anyone have an answer, or a pointer in the right direction? Any suggestions? TIA |
