Default Video res problem / Presario 7470

After a re-partitioning, formatting, and reloading of the hard disk I am
unable to change the video resolution above 640x480. The colors will
display up to "True Color" however. All the drivers were downloaded from
Compaq support site.

The system:

Presario 7470 Desktop
WD 20GB HDD (single FAT32 part)
184 MB RAM (upgraded)
Camaro mainboard w/ VIA Chipset
OS - Win98 SE
Trident MVP4 chipset, 8MB onboard video

Thanks.

Default

Fixed it. I changed to a different monitor driver than the default that
Windows used.
