Default ASUS Support

Hi,
I've heard from some vendors here in Oz that ASUS support is poor. Well, re
my post 'silent' beep problem (can't hear the case speaker beep) I mailed
ASUS. Their reply.....' go to your vendor'. Great. I bought the mobo (P4P800
Delux) in Kuala Lumpour and it's just not feasable to go back to ask a
question!

Now you know why we do not buy outside of our own country.

This is no Asus problem but a "any brand" problem. For example, I just
bought a hp proliant ml330 that says (right out of the box) system battery
fail... checked battery 3v ok. And now? My dealer says, call hp, hp says
call your dealer it's a DOA. Now I am one week furter and the machine still
says system battery fail... This is just an example (but tru) and I hear it
all the time. Do you no what works sometime. Give a real big mouth with all
the bad words... and next time buy your stuff next door (not from the
internet!).
