be careful when using FORMAT with RAID
For reasons I won't go into, I decided to boot up my Asus P4PE
computer with a Windows 98 startup disk so that I could format the C: drive. To my surprise, it not only formatted the C: drive, but it also formatted my RAID 0 array of 2 60GB Western Digitals, which contained some important data. I don't know why it did this as my RAID 0 array had the drive letter E: |
