Default Legato report for client backup history??

Hi, We are using Legato Networker 7.1 for backing up a few hundred
clients. Is there a way to generate a report to show the backup
amounts for different clients per month to see the growth?
mminfo doesn't work if the tapes have been purged correct? So if
some of the clients are recycled every 2 weeks then that data isn't
available?
We do have the /nsr/logs/message file which goes back a couple
years. One thing that is odd though is mminfo shows savesets backed up
on a certain date, but the message log doesn't, so I don't know if the
message log is accurate. Any thoughts?
