AMO Depends on what kind of card you have in your PC as to how much it's worth spending, but your budget is quite big, so I'll assume you have decent hardware and are looking for at least 5.1 sound for games and dvd playback. I have a set of Creative Inspire 6700 here in a box next to me which I bought from EBuyer for £50 delivered a month ago - saved the wife the chore of buying me a present, but I can't open them before Chrismas day. This 6.1 (5.1 plus rear centre channel) system is supposed to sound fantastic with the Audigy2 card I already have - box weighs a ton too, so they should be well put together. I think you'd probably have to spend over £80 to get anything significantly better. |
