Rod, the lowest price from your original Google listing showed only $91,
not bad, but certainly not $80. Then that specific Hitachi external
product you displayed from SeaBoom shows $104.89 -- after a $96.10
discount! Still not $80, BTW.

Really?! The cheapest 2-TB internal drives from Newegg cost 120
USD.
Do you have a link to 80 USD for 2-TB?

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&t...=643&bih =362

Nope.

Yep, first hit when sorted on price, fool.

Now follow the link, half-wit. There is no 80 USD 2TB hard drive.

Try again.

No need.

Yes, there is. Why don't you post the direct link?

Notice the problem with the product? It is Hitachi--or it
was. Now WD--or will be. Plus, this is an external 2TB
drive, not an internal drive. Discontinued or clearance?
Most likely. Warranty by who? How long? 30-30 warranty
(30-ft or 30 sec, whichever comes first)? Hitachi or WD?
Doesn't say.... Ships direct from mfr--RIIIIGHT.....

The bigger problem is that it's $104.89, not $80.

http://compare.ebay.com/like/2210393..._lwgsi=y&cbt=y
isnt.

It was $80 when I posted that.

I don't see any 2TB drive for $80. There's a 1TB drive though...
