Default AMD CPU's

Hi

I'm completly confused my all of AMD's 64 bit CPU's. They have an Ahtlon 64
coming up, there is a Opteron, (claw/sledge)Hammer, you name it.

What 64 bit CPU's exactly are there, what codenames are used and how are
they all different?

TIA

Take a look at
http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/...18_608,00.html
(alternative: www.amd.com - processors - roadmaps)

A very short conclusion, to answer your questions:
"ClawHammer" == Athlon 64 (Desktop/Mobile)
"SledgeHammer" == Opteron (Server/Workstation)

More technical information (datasheets) about the processors is available on
the AMD website.
