voltage amd athlon 2600
My amd athlon 2600+ has voltage 1.7V. I`ve read that should be 1.65V.
Have I to change it? If yes, how? -- LookAss |

Have I to change it? If yes, how? If it works currently then no don't change it.. it's probably better running that fraction higher anyway.. all it would do anyway is maybe reduce the cpu temperature by 2 degrees when it's idle.. Regards, Chris |

I have the same cpu. For some reason my motherboard by default automatically
overclocks all my voltages upwards. So I end up for example with a 1.69V Vcore. Almost 1.7. This is with deafult bios settings. So basically, depends on the motherboard you use, it will vary. If you get automatic voltage increase and everthing goes well and no heat problems, don't worry and enjoy your pc. "LookAss" wrote in message .. . My amd athlon 2600+ has voltage 1.7V.
