Default used fanless computers

Does anyone know where or of a website that you can buy used fanless
computers? I live in southern Ontario.

Thanks,

Carl

Do they have to be used ?

What about new ones ?

What about building your own ?

Any outfit that deals in used computers, will be deluged in fan
equipped computers. There will be very few fanless. If you wanted
something used, you might try talking to someone who owns a
recording studio, as some of those people like quiet equipment.
But expecting a used computer outfit to have nothing but fanless
computers, is expecting a lot.

And since you haven't stated a performance level you're expecting,
we have no way of knowing what would suit your needs. Gamer ?
Business usage ? Web surfing ? Recording studio ?

This is an example of a computer case, that a recording studio might
use for their computer. The TNN500AF case from Zalman.co.kr in this
picture, uses heatpipes to transfer heat from the CPU and graphics card,
into the aluminum walls of the computer case. The power supply is
mounted on the other aluminum wall. The whole case functions as a
heat sink. The advantage of this solution, is higher power components
can be used.

A lower technology solution (fanless PC that doesn't use heatpipes),
will have lower performance.
