Default athlon 2600 266MHz fan question..

(or any cpu, for that matter)

I need a fan for the above processor. I plan to do some light OC'ing..,
nothing serious at all.

The big thing for me is noise. It has to be whisper quite. Or quieter.
I couldn't believe it, I once bought a volcano (something) to replace the
stock fan, and yeah, it brought the temp down 7c but PUH-LEASE! Sounded like
a 747 on take-off.
I read something once about larger fans moving more air at a slower speed,
if that works, (and if it's quieter) that's what I'm looking for. Does
anyone have any suggestions?

AND, if anyone is reading this post that knows.. I'm going to upgrade my
video card too, but I read that the new ATI Radeon's only support XP and the
like. I run Win98se. Is that true?
thanks all, VERY much appreciated! !
