Default Compaq Armada 7800 UK PSU

Hi, I have just bought a UK Armada 7800 laptop off of ebay, but it has
no power supply. I don't know what power supply to get. I've been on
HP's website to find the part number (314957-031) but i don't know if
this will work because most UK laptop power supplies have step down
transformers on them because UK plug sockets output 230V!

I think it needs to have a transformer on it else it'll blow up, but
where do i get one from. Please help me.

Cheers

The PSU is built into the 7800 laptop and is designed to be
universal. All you need is the right power lead to plug it into the
wall socket.

On the back of my 7800, there is a label : 100-120/200-240V~, and it
works fine in France on 220V. So I suppose it is OK to plug it directly
on the 120V mains (as the 7800 has no external power supply).
What do you see on the label of yours?
