Default Laptop LTE 5300

Hello,

Is there any way to silence that horrible beep when switching on my
old Compaq LTE 5300 laptop? I've tried looking in the BIOS, but
couldn't find anything.

Thank you,
J.D.

J.D.,
Nope. You're stuck with it. The single beep means all is well.
