Turns Itself On After 30 Minutes
Compaq Presario 5140
Anybody hear of this one. I do a normal shutdown sequence, Start-Shut Down-Wait for Ok-Then press button on front for about 3 seconds. Everything is off, no lights on front panel, computer quiet. Then for no apparent reason it starts up on its own after 30 minutes. I checked the APS, and any scheduled tasks, but none.
