Default ATI TV Wonder USB 2.0 & Macrovision

Does anyone know what will happen if I try to record a Macrovision
protected VHS tape with the above hardware? Does ATI put anything in
their hardware/software to stop recording if it detects Macrovision?

Thanks...

Yep! The screen will be scrambled. Unfortunately, macrovision is on the
chip. I've tried all of the software hacks and none of them worked.

You will need a seperate device to defeat Macrovision.
