Is there a high-resolution monitor?
I note Dell's 22" and wider monitors have a horizontal pixel
dimension of 1920. My Inspiron e1705 has that resolution on a 17"-wide screen. Does any manufacturer offer a similar pixel density for the larger widths, such as 22" and up? --David |

I think the only higher resolution monitor you will find are the 30" panels.
These don't have the higher DPI of your laptop one but do have a resolution of 2560x1600. They also cost a fair bit but if resolution is what you after it might be worth it, or else you might consider running dual screen. I have a friend with dual 24" monitors giving over a metre of horizontal screen real estate it is impressive to see. HTH Robert "J David Ellis" wrote in message ...
