Computer Retail Sales & MOs Tax Free Weekend
A friends daughter did a little shopping for a new computer for college. Interestingly enough, she found that all of the current sales the stores are running, will not be running during MO's tax free weekend. She actually found that she saves more by shopping the sale now and not the tax free weekend.
One would think the stores would try to double up and have the sales (at a low mark down perhaps) over that weekend so their customers get more for their dollar without having to actually cut into the companies profits. Obviously not the way corporate sees it. She went to all of the big box discount and electronics stores in the area. The government give the consumer a break and Wall Street snatches it back. Please pass this along. |
