I tink you will probley need a transparency adapter. This usualy plugs into
the back of the scanner. see if you have a round female jack with places for several pins. If you don't have this then you cannot *normally* scan negatives. I say *normally* because I have heard that some people have had success with a homemade light source. Unless you are content with paper prints no larger than 5 x7 or 4 x 6, any scanner giving you less than 2400 ppi will not do you any good. Of course if you are scanning for the computer or web forget what i just wrote! Paul -- "When I die, I want to go peacefully in my sleep like Grandpa did, not screaming like the passengers in his car." "Peter" wrote in message om... Hi, at work we got a HP6300 flatbed-scanner. I saw it can be used to scan 35mm negatives. Unfortunately nobody can find the adapter for this. Can I just put the negatives on the flatbed and scan them? Thanks, Peter email: |
