Default Temperature range

My PC sometimes crashes and I don't know so but I'm monitoring CPU and
graph. card temperatures..

Do you know the exact good range of work for "NVIDIA GeForce 6200 LE" and if
a high temp could block the PC as often happens to me?

Thanks in advance,

Mhaxx

Could be ventilation problem. Try opening the PC case and see if the
system would work more reliably...

It happens again..

How to monitor GPU temp and which is the right range of work?

gently put your finger on the heatsink of the GPU. If it burns
you right away, then it's too hot.

Try rivatuner.

At a rough guess, anywhere below 70c is sufficient.

I've just noted Sandra (a program which reports a lot of information about
your system) suggests a frequency = 75 Hz, have I to do it?

How do you know it's the videocard temperature that is causing lockups? I
highly doubt a 6200LE card is doing duty running Crysis or other strenuous
3D activity. What is the CPU temp and the m/b temp under load? Ambient room
temp? Case ventilation? Amongst other things...

I only suppose, I think CPU or GPU exceed temp could be the cause..

I don't know, could you suggest a good prg to monitor CPU, GPU temps..
fan speed, etc?

Thanks,

Mhaxx
