The above drivers are no longer available from the Nvidia website.
Seems they had a slight problem with them, ie. reduced frames in testing and
benches.
They have left the 175.16's available, even though people have reported
minor problems with them.

Just rechecked the web site and definitely not there.

A number of people have had more than minor problems....I can't recall the
last time they've done this. People who had issues with the 175.16's
reported better results with the 175.19's. Ah well, at least they don't
release new monthly bloatware versions for no apparent reason like the
Crapalysts...err ...Catalysts.

The 175.19s are probably the best drivers I've used on a GeForce8 class
card yet while the 175.16's were undeniably the worst and I have used
*all* of them.

The irony of that have swirled in me a perfect storm of astonishment. I
can't wait to see the next act in the NVidia tragi-comedy.

Dollars to donuts, it's DRM related.

I'm getting better performance out of 175.19's. I'll stick with
them.

Cheers,
Rod.

In article ,
says...
One sites review...........

http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.ph...194&Item id=1

There a couple more I cant think of at the minute. (not on the same computer
I was checking earlier so I cant find out from history.)

snip

Thanks. A quick browse and it seems to be related to multiple GPU's
for the most part. It'll be enlightening to see if Nvidia comes
clean with what went wrong.

Not what I see, as of this post the 175.16's are being offered on
nvidias web site, not the 175.19's.

Link to the 175.19's plz.
