Default cannot retrieve client resources

Hi All,

I am new in system administration. I have a problem to do the backup
by
using solstice 5.1 at my first day. Thanks in advance for all your
help.

I got the error message on one of my client Kilby for a long time, but
could not find a way to fix it. The error message shows:

Sep 3 01:17:58 beverly root: --- Unsuccessful Save Sets ---
Sep 3 01:17:58 beverly root:
Sep 3 01:17:58 beverly root: * kilby:All 2 retries attempted
Sep 3 01:17:58 beverly root: * kilby:All nsrexec: authtype nsrexec
Sep 3 01:17:58 beverly root: * kilby:All No 'NSR client' resource for
client localhost
Sep 3 01:17:58 beverly root: * kilby:All savefs: cannot retrieve
client resources

I have rebuilt the index for the client kilby, recover the index for
the server from the last full backup, reinstalled the client software
on client kilby. But all of these cannot solve the problem. I guess
the client and the server may have the connection problem.

Does anyone know why this occurs, and how to solve this problem? I
have
been searching on the web for a long time and sent messages to many
groups to ask for help, but still no answer. I am so tired, it just
like a nightmaire.

I do appreciate your valuable advice.

Regards!

Just write this down as the reference for someone may encounter the
same problem in the future.
The problem has been solved. The connection between sever and client
has problem, but still don't know why and how it happened.
Go to /etc/hosts and change the order of short name and the full name
in both client and server. Add the full name in the client windown on
Solstice backup software.
