Default Brother HL-1250 XP Driver

In my Win98 set-up, I was offered all manner of printing options. In my
recently-installed XP, this list seems to have shrunk dramatically.
At
http://www.brother-support.co.uk/KNO...c?OpenDocument,
the Brother site offers an XP driver but says

Windows XP

Native Driver Inbox Driver
Yes

(However these drivers do not have full
Functionality of Brother drivers available in
Previous Windows operating systems)
UNQUOTE

Is there any solution to this?

TIA.
