Default A7V8X raid boot order problems with Promise SX4000

Upgraded to BIOS 1013.001 and it works perfectly!!!

I have the following:

A7V8X-SATARAID version
Using the onboard Promise 20376 SATA raid 1 for 2 x 80GB (OS)
Promise SX4000 RAID 5 (data) - PCI slot 1

Problem is that I cannot get the SATA to be the primary boot device as

both
are SCSI and the BIOS has only one setting.
It always chooses the Promise PCI card first. You cannot disable the boot
tag in the array!

I have tried, various combinations on the BIOS boot order.
I have tried setting the Onboard ATA as enabled.
I thought about trying to change the PCI/IRQs.
And maybe moving the PCI card around but I think the BIOS some reason puts
the PCI slot at a higher priority than onboard.

Anyone have any ideas?
