opteron and athlon 64 cache difference

i'm looking up info the athlon 64 and opteron. one site is saying the
opteron has 128k L1 cache and the Athlon 64 has 64k + 64k L1 cache. Is
this the same thing described differently or is their cache different
and if so, what's the difference?

It's the same thing. The diff is the memory controller. 72 bit for A64 and
144 bit for Opteron/ A64FX.

The descriptions mean the same, the 64k + 64k is showing the
individual 64k L1 code cache and the 64k L1 data cache. When you see
the 128k it is just the total of the code and data cache.

The only differences between the Opteron and the Athlon 64's is the
amount of L2 cache and the size of the memory bus (128 bit / 64 bit).
