Default Panasonic BL-C10A anyone have comments on it?

I want to get a netcam to monitor my driveway from an indoor window
and this one seemed like a decent compromise on price / capabilites.

Has anyone used it and what are your experiences and how do you rate
it?

Thanks,

Wes S

Hi !

A week ago, i installed such a camera.

Installation is really easy. Just run the setup from the utility cd.
But there's one thing: Sometimes the setup does not work. If so, the reset
to factory defaults button should be pressed on the camera.

The picture quality is quite ok. It looks best at a resolution of 320x240.
The higher one 640x480 has a lower framerate. But for your purpose it's
good.

By the way: here's an online demo:

click on testlink

Greetings

I bought one of these cameras about three weeks ago, and it is very good
for the price. It has many features, but the most impressive thing is the
picture quality in varying lighting conditions.

The only downside I can find so far is the "motion triggered email"
sending is too sensitive. It emails me all the time, when there is
apparently no movement in the attached .JPG image. It needs a new setup
feature that lets you set the "trip" sensitivity.

Other than that, I'm happy with it.

I have been running a BL-C10 for well over a year at
www.cluer.com/webcam Very pleased with it. Far better than a Linksys I
used to use. It is a shame there is no sound though.
