asus v3800 tnt2 gpu cooling fan type ?
Hi,
I think my asus v3800 tnt gpu cooling fan is dry... so it needs lubrication to function properly... (oil) Otherwise sometimes it makes strange noises (probably when it gets a bit hotter because of more workload). The gpu fan is attached via some sort of square thing which has 2 screws. One screw is stuck and now damaged so I can't get it out... it's a very very tine screw. I am interested to learn if it is a sleave baring cooling fan or a ball bearing cooling fan. Since I believe that if it is a sleave bearing fan I can safely pull out the blade without damaging it since it is held in place via a magnet. Then I can oil it and place it back... otherwise if it is a ball bearing fan that's probably not possible ?! Any information about these gpu cooling fans is appreciated =D Bye, Skybuck. |
