Hello,

I have a AMD Athlon 1.7Gb, 512 DDR memory and a Radeon VE (64MB)
videocard. I just bought Tombraider AOD and even with this
configuration, the graphics aren't as fluid and smooth as I should
wish. So I'm looking out for a new graphics card. Can anyone
recommend me a payable solution to solve this problem ?

Depends on your budget... If you dont want to spend too much, a 9600 Pro is
very nice, a 9500 Pro is better, but hard to find. A 9800 Pro is much better
still, of course, but quite expensive, and you'll come close to the point
where your CPU will be the bottleneck.

Try the 9800 non pro. It's a couple of hundred bucks cheaper than the 9800
pro, at least here in Canada, but has all the same features and a slower
clock speed. I understand that you can overclock them to almost the speed
of the 9800 pro.
