Mitac 6120N laptop bios dead. PLEASE HELP!!!
Hi,
I just tried to update my Mitac 6120N notebook with the latest bios ver. 1.11 I typed the command miflash ***.bin /u Now the laptop is dead. Is there any way to recover the bios? I have the old version on a floppy disk. I tried with the PIO boot block procedure, but the laptop doesn't even access to the floppy drive. Can you help? Thanks. |

See if the EEPROM chip is removable, then at least you can replace it with a chip that has the prior bios already flashed to it. |

I have waited almost an hour and nothing is happening, apart the cpu fan starting to spin every now and again. |
