Your prints will fade more quickly

You run a higher risk of a clogged print head

Biggest lie so far...

Why those are gods words

You support vendors who will not tell you what you are buying

You're buying ink you friggin idiot!

Ding

If you have a high print load than it may be economically justifiable to use the lower grade ink but do not say you print practically free now because you do not.

Liar! You have no idea what you're talking about. Get lost, and don't ever come back. Frank

Oh it is he he he not ha ha ha

No need to get mad at measekite for voicing his opinion. (I am glad he did) He does have a point to an extent- There is a difference in quality of aftermarket inks. I have bought ink from Costco, and it is not as good as the ink I am currently using (which is made in Japan vs China) Even if the quality was lower to some degree, (which it is not- I would love to mail measekite print #3751 from the same printer -which did not clog- and have him see for himself), and if it did fade quicker, .17¢ for ink vs $2.17 for the same print ($98 for a set of cartridges that yield 45~ 8.5X11 prints vs $80 for 10 cartridges worth of ink in a CIS) makes it worth re-printing again and again if necessary! Yes, Maybe I lucked out, but from two different suppliers from Canada and the US? I am a lucky guy, I guess (or maybe not- Maybe many companies do sell quality!)

Rudijock - Saying that people on this NG are mad at Measekite for stating
his opinion is not quite accurate. We are tired of biased, no-experience,
bold faced lies and distortions that he pulls out of the air. I suspect
that you lack a sense of history about our not-so beloved troll. We have
endured his nonsense for at least four years that I know of. I would
definitedly appreciate his opinion if it were based on his own actual
experience with a product. He is certainly qualified to tell us how much he
loves his ip4000 printer and OEM inks, but he has never tried aftermarket
inks and has no experience from which to draw a conclusion to be used for
advice to others.

I do note that your post, while starting out defending his right to have an
opinion, refutes his litany of imagined complaints about aftermarket inks.
A delightful exercise in irony.

Yes, I can see now that the guy is totally out to lunch. Personally, I
choose to live my life according to words my mommy taught me: If you
cant say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

As much as I campaign to help people save money and the environment,
I almost want to start posting for people to to ignore measekite and
treat every post of his as spam. What a friggin idiot.

I am not twisting anyones arm to change the way they buy ink, just
voicing my experience and opinion, and even going as far as saying it
is not for everyone, and if you feel uncomfortable, to not buy
alternative ink- But measekite, being the clown he is is probably
going to jump right in and find something wrong with this post and
have to post his filthy, un-educated two cents worth. I have learned
not to hate, but I have also learned to recognize a fool and to do my
best to discredit him at every opportunity. People should not
consider a word of such people, and it is people like him and spammers
that drive decent folk trying to offer reasonable opinion or learn
from others to administrated forums, so heartless dicks like him can
be booted into cyber space.

I now apologize for not recognizing the demeaning behaviour of this
person before I came to his defense.

measekite- I would ask you to leave if there was hope that you would,
but knowing you wont head this request I have no choice but to bluntly
ask you to **** OFF! What a MORON

He must work for Epson.

It is spam, it's the same or similar post repeated over and over
again.

As far as inksupply.com... they are what I use for my ip5200. Near as
i'm aware they are using "Image Specalists" inks, at least according
to
http://www.image-specialists.com/GlobalDistributors.htm
