"Jeptha" wrote in message om... Never mind, never mind, it cleared itself. (sigh) i am gonna miss the packard bell face at boot up. The powerleap finally worked. Now I have a different problem. every thim i boot I can't use anything on the computer. I seem to have lost all driver memory during the flashing. I would like to thank the people who helped me get my pb back on it's feet: THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PS: can you help with the driver problem. The best way to get "everything found during bootup" is to remove the CMOS battery and then wait a few moments place it back it and then let the system find the devices as before. (CMOS reset) That is the way I do it. However in the BIOS chipset screen you can set the bios to default settings and that should also make the system run as before if I am understanding you correctly. Also as in your other posts, it would be better to have you "quote" whom you are referring to as to better understand your question and what had previously been said or tried before. Elector |
