Default Making Speaker selection permenant.

I am running XP Home SP2 with an Audigy card.
I have 4 speakers and select 4 speakers in the Audigy Control Panel Speaker
module and the XP Control Panel Sound Setup.
But following a reboot, sometimes, the selection returns to 2 Speaker in
both.
Anyone know why this occurs and how to fix it?

Known bug in older drivers. Time to hit the auto-update thingy on
audigy.com.
